The Clean Mobility Options Program aims to accept Mobility Project Voucher Applications starting at 9am PT OCTOBER 20, 2020, to be processed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

As of 6pm PT on June 2, 2020, Community Transportation Needs Assessment funds are fully subscribed. This means that we have received applications valued greater than the available funds. AS A RESULT, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEEDS ASSESSMENT APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME.


WHAT: Below are individual application materials and attachments that are required to be completed and submitted as part of your application package when you apply for a Community Transportation Needs Assessment Voucher or a Mobility Project Voucher for the Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program.


THE APPLICATION: The Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program’s Implementation Manual (IM) is the governing document for the program. The IM provides details on how the program works and explains all of the program and eligibility requirements for applicants and awardees, as well as the Application Materials. To be sure you are using the most current version of the application when applying, applicants should continue to check this page. Applicants should always refer to the current version of the IM as the guiding document.

APPLICATION WINDOW: The Mobility Project Voucher Application window is set to open at 9am ET on October 20, 2020. Applications will be processed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Offers 3 years of funding of up to $1 million to conduct a shared clean mobility project in an  eligible Project Area.

Attachment 1: Mobility Project Voucher Budget Worksheet ( Word /  Excel /  PDF)

Attachment 2: Infrastructure Sites and Needs Profile Worksheet ( Word /  PDF): This worksheet must be completed only when you are requesting funding for any of the following categories of infrastructure: Level 2 or DC Fast Charger EVSE, Bicycle and Scooter infrastructure, Solar Photovoltaic Equipment, and/or Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure.

Due to the health crisis, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS THROUGH IN-PERSON DELIVERY. We will only accept applications electronically and by mail. Please call us at (626) 744-5670 if this poses an inconvenience.

NO EARLY SUBMISSIONS: Early submissions will be rejected and asked to resubmit during the application window timeframe. When submitting by mail, please make sure the package is postmarked on or after the date the window opens.

NO INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS: Only complete  applications will be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected. To ensure that you submit a complete application, please see the application checklist on this page.

NO LATE SUBMISSIONS: Applications submitted after the window is closed will be rejected.
